MHS Department Hosts Capstone Presentation Day

Medical & Health Sciences (MHS) Department at AUIS hosted its first Senior Capstone Presentation Day on May 17, 2022, to showcase senior student projects. 
 
Students conducted medical research addressing common medical and health issues faced by residents in Sulaimani city and presented the collected data and findings on posters displayed in the sciences building on campus. The event opened with a ribbon cutting and was attended by University President Bruce Walker Ferguson, faculty members, students, and families. 
 
The event marked the inaugural capstone presentation day for the department, which will graduate its first cohort of students in June.
