AUIS hosts Fall 2018 Concert featuring student bands and local artists

  The Oriental Music Club, NOVA rock band, and several local artists performed for an excited crowd of more than 400 attendees as part of the AUIS Fall 2018 Concert at the University on November 22, 2018. The student-run Oriental Music Club started off the event with a few songs before Kurdish artists Nasser Rezazi, Diyari Qaradaxi, and Rawa Jamal surprised the crowd of students, staff, faculty, and community guests with performances of some of their most well-known tracks. After a brief intermission, Kurdish rock band NOVA Band treated the audience to original and cover rock songs in English and Kurdish.
