New head of EU Liaison Office-Erbil visits AUIS
The head of the European Union’s Liaison Office – Erbil, Mr. Vincent-Guillaume Poupeau, visited AUIS on November 12, 2019, as part of a visit to Sulaimani. This was the first university visit for Mr. Poupeau since his arrival to the Kurdistan region. At AUIS, he met with University President Bruce Walker Ferguson, who thanked the EU for funding through grants that support research. Poupeau also met with VP Academic Affairs, Dr. Wolfgang Hinck, and other administrators; professors and department chairs; research center directors; and students.
