The Engineering Club organized a month-long seminar on ANSYS during October 2019. ANSYS is an important software for engineers and is used to design products and semiconductors, as well as create simulations that test a product's durability, temperature distribution, fluid movements, and electromagnetic properties. Some 75 students participated in the seminar, led by Engineering Department Chair, Dr. Ameen El-Sinawi. The Club had anticipated organizing just one section of the seminar, but with increased interest, a second section was opened to accommodate all interested students. Participants received certificates upon successful completion of the seminar.
