AUIS 11th Commencement Celebrates the Class of 2022

American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) celebrated the Class of 2022 with an in-person commencement ceremony on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The ceremony featured a musical performance by the Lur Music Group and addresses from distinguished speakers such as AUIS President Dr. Bruce Walker Ferguson; AUIS Founder HE Dr. Barham Salih; Kurdistan Region President HE Nechirvan Barzani; KRG Minister of Higher Education HE Aram Mohammad Qadir; AUIS Board of Trustees Chair Dr. Jill Derby, Editor in Chief of The National and AUIS Trustee Ms. Mina Al Oraibi; Activist and 2014 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Ms. Malala Yousafzai; Undergraduate Valedictorian Ms. Eveen Ali Hasan; and MBA Valedictorian Mr. Aram Salar Jalal.
The event was capped by a lively concert sponsored by Play Radio.
