Youth and Discrimination Symposium

On September 19, 2019, the Psychology Club hosted a symposium at American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) titled, “Youth and Discrimination.” University Counselor and clinical psychologist Frishta Kewe moderated the panel discussion which featured contributions from Jaafar Omer, Nashmil Rasul, Goshan Qaradaxi, and Zana Ahmed. 
The Psychology Club at AUIS was established in early 2019 with the help of Ms. Kewe. The club’s president, San Ali, said, “The club works to raise awareness about mental health issues and how to be a successful and organized individual through academic discussions, panels, arts events, and seminars.”
