AUIS Celebrates Thanksgiving with Lunch and Faculty/Staff Awards

American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) marked the Thanksgiving holiday on November 28, 2019 with a large lunch spread and awards for faculty and staff. President Bruce Walker Ferguson delivered brief remarks and acknowledged staff and faculty members who have worked at the University for five and ten years. Awardees received gold pins for their years of dedication to the University community.

The remarks were followed by a delicious lunch organized by the Executive Office. The Thanksgiving lunch is an annual event at AUIS that offers employees a chance to meet and enjoy a lighthearted hour of socializing, food, and dessert.
