On Saturday, September 16, 2023, a group of AUIS students from the Engineering Club visited the Bakhtiari Garden Intersection project site with Eng. Mashhoor Altaryrah, a lecturer in the Engineering Department. The day began with an insightful presentation by the project engineers, who discussed the intricate design and map of the Bakhtiari Garden Intersection project, shedding light on the planning behind this major civil engineering endeavor. Some of the main topics discussed included soil composition, excavation, backfilling, and the project's holistic view.
Beyond the technical aspects, the students engaged in comprehensive discussions about the project's environmental, economic, and social implications. This holistic perspective enriched their understanding of the project's significance.
During this event, students had the opportunity to interact with the project manager and on-site engineers, asking questions and engaging in meaningful conversations. This direct interaction bridged the gap between theory and practice.
