AUIS Professor Participates in the “Advancing Disability Rights” Conference

The conference, held at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia from November 21 to 23, centered around the theme 'Advancing Disability Rights: Disability Inclusive Development Reimagined.' Dr. Lynn Rose from the Department of Social Sciences actively participated in the ICDR Partners Meeting on November 21, hosted by the university's Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. On November 22, she presented her paper, titled 'Keywords for Disability Justice: Teaching Disability Studies in Kurdistan,' which will be published by the conference organizers. The conference aimed at fostering discussions on improving access and inclusivity in higher education.
