Robert Majure joined AUIS in 2023. He holds a BA in political science and an MA in
linguistics.
He has previously taught at the American University Cairo, the University of Petroleum
and Minerals Saudi Arabia as well as the American University in Duhok. He has also
been a linguistics expert for the International Labour Organization and was the
owner/principal of the American School Sana’a, Yemen as well as the Principal of the
American International School, Duhok, Kurdistan.
He has taught at all levels from KG to university teaching English, social studies, history
and geography. His academic background has included twenty-seven years of
administrative experience running grade schools in Yemen and Kurdistan as well as the
Yemen-American Language Institute in Sana’a, Yemen.
