PARTNERSHIPS
An exciting partnership with High Quality Hospitals (HQH) provides MLS students at AUIS with access to one of Sulaimani’s most advanced hospitals. Anwar Sheikha Medical City serves as the Medical & Health Sciences (MHS) department’s teaching hospital, where students complete their year of clinical experience. The Department welcomes partnerships and collaborations with national and international organizations and individuals who believe in our mission and share our goals of providing world-class education and scholarship.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In addition to the MLS program's rigorous curriculum, students participate in a range of extra-curricular activities including community service events, public awareness campaigns, and student clubs. One of AUIS’s most active student-led clubs is the MLS-run Code Blue Club, which presents seminars and community outreach activities focusing on health-related topics.
